DEPARTMENTAL NEWS
Staff Charity Football Match
A huge thank you to all staff and students, who supported our second charity football match, in aid of Alfie’s Wish and Men’s Minds Matter. Your generosity and enthusiasm helped make the event a fantastic success, raising vital funds and awareness for two incredibly worthy causes. Whether you played, donated, or cheered from the side lines, your involvement made a real difference. We’re proud to see our community come together once again, in support of these charities - thank you! PE Kit
Please can we remind parents and carers, that students should be wearing Regents Park PE kit and have their hair tied up, if it is longer than shoulder length for practical core and BTEC Sport lessons. Please can you ensure students are not wearing hooded jumpers, as this can cause harm to themselves and other students and shorts/bottoms are mid-thigh length or longer. They are permitted to wear the RPCC PE jumper or a plain blue or black jumper that doesn’t have a hood. If a student is unable to take part in PE, please ensure they have a note and their PE kit (they won’t take part practically, but will engage in other roles throughout their lesson). If a student is unable to change, please get in touch with their PE teacher. Please check your child’s timetable and our uniform policy on the website to ensure they are adhering to school rules. Many thanks for your support The PE team wish you a restful and safe summer break. We are really looking forward to welcoming you back in September.

We got on the plane, however it was diverted to Gran Canaria, because it was so windy - so we sat there for hours! When we eventually
got to Tenerife, we travelled to the hotel and unpacked our stuff. Afterwards, we went to the supermarket and bought some sunflower seeds and then we went back to the hotel, which was very nice. Martes (Tuesday) We had an hour long coach journey to Mount Teide - the journey was nice. Once we got there, we went on a tour around the bottom of the volcano and we saw lots of different animals. Then we got to the top of Mount
Teide and the view was lovely. Next, we went to a nature reserve and watched a short movie about Mount Teide that was quite interesting.
Miercoles (Wednesday) We went to the Banana Plantation in the morning,
