taking on the role of Head This Girl Can Ambassador next year - I could not be prouder! Miss Robinson Year 7 Cricket Team A big shoutout to our Year 7 cricket team, who have played their first ever games of cricket this half term! In their first game, the boys won the toss and chose to bat first, putting up a strong 104 runs for 9 wickets in 12 overs. St George’s chased down the total in 11 overs, finishing with 105 runs for 3 wickets – taking the win in a well-fought match. Special mentions: Harley, for rallying the team and ensuring we had a full squad of 11 - some brilliant coaching of the new players! Shridev and Karolis, who each took their first wickets – well done! Carter and Natanim for batting so well! Eddy, for some fantastic work behind the stumps with great wicketkeeping. A fantastic team effort all round. We’re incredibly proud of everyone’s performance.

On 1st May, we held our annual Sports Awards, which was nothing short of spectacular. From new awards, to our charity raffle, to a hip-hop dance performance from our incredible Year 11s and having the incredible Franny Benali with us as a guest speaker! It was truly incredible to see what an outstanding turn out we had, with every student looking incredibly smart and mature. It was an amazing opportunity to celebrate so many student successes and developments through PE and sport, encompassing the ethos of RPCC. Franny Benali provided an outstanding inspirational speech, captivating students from all year groups. It was fantastic to reflect on the outstanding growth in character development and physical development of all individuals who were there! As a department, we are extremely proud of all students who attended the event and showcased the inclusive and diverse curriculum and opportunities we offer. This Girl Can Ambassadors (TGC) In my final half term of being the lead for the This Girl Can Programme, I would like to take the opportunity to share how proud I am of each and every TGC Ambassador that has been part of such an inspirational programme over the four years of it running. The impact that this programme has continued to have, has been been nothing short of amazing,and what our incredible young ladies have achieved, has created a legacy at RPCC, that has continued to flourish and will continue, as Miss Fitzsimmons takes over next year. From the Girls Biggest Football Session and leadership days, to SEF presentations and proposals to the Senior Leadership Team, to girls football at lunch and creating a change that has increased the opportunities of so many. I am extremely proud of you all and look forward to seeing the legacy continue in future years. A special shout out to Daisha, who has been such an inspiration and will be
