DEPARTMENTAL NEWS

KS3 Photography Club Photography club started the term by creating a nature collage.

Students created creative compositions before taking photos of their nature flat lay. Later in the term, students took part in a forced perspective shoot, these were edited on Photoshop

in a scrapbook style. As of recent, students have begun to plan and shoot for their submission of the photography competition.

Year 8 Manga Artist Reward

As a reward, some chosen Year 8 students had the opportunity to do a manga workshop with Sally Goodden, a local Southampton artist. Students were chosen for their continued commitment to reading, the creative arts and support of the library. Students were exceptionally behaved, created some fantastic outcomes and had a blast, whilst enjoying their reward.

Dance Live Coming soon to RPCC and the creative arts department, Dance Live 2026! If you are a mover and shaker, love the lime light or prefer to be behind the stage. This enrichment will be for you. Keep your eyes peeled for more information and for sign up details in September 2025.
