We have seen them flourish in front of our very eyes through their ‘Spoken Language Endorsement’ – the first stage of their GCSE English Language course. Students select a challenging topic and deliver a speech to the class about it, covering its relevance, counter arguments and statistical evidence to support their view. What an excellent start to your GCSE! Product Design Year 7 have jumped into the world of the entrepreneur this half term with our Product Design unit. While some classes have explored the brand of Cadbury and their guerrilla marketing tactics, others have been comparing tastes and marketing of chocolate and crisps. Yum! All of our Year 7 students are now in the process of designing a new food product, creating its packaging so it is psychologically

appealing and will be pitching in our very own Dragons’ Den! We wonder who will win… but it looks like it’ll be a close race!
