GENERAL NEWS

Year 11 Prom

Library Regents Park’s library welcomes departing Year 11 student Destini Moylan as a volunteer! She has volunteered her time to the library so she can gain work experience for her CV and get a step closer to fulfilling her dreams of working with children. Miss Pritchard is really impressed with her work-ethic so far and her desire to succeed. We all hope that her extra time with us helps her towards a bright future! Destini says: “ I think the library will benefit from my presence because I can assist during busy periods and lend my enthusiasm to fundraising and reading with students. I am enthusiastic about the library and love all the books it has to offer. I am really thankful for the opportunity Regents Park has given me, as well as all my time here as a student. I intend to go to City College in September to study childcare but will still be able to lend a hand during my time off! ” Miss Pritchard and Miss Moylan would like to say goodbye to all the Year 11s who have recently left us and wish them the best for their future. Before they went we asked them all to sign a farewell book, which we will be keeping in the library archives

forevermore. The book contains details of their time here and photos ranging from Year 7 to Year 11. If any Year 11 students have not yet signed the book, please do contact the school as we would love to have everyone included.
