Year 9 Awards

Regents Park is really proud to present awards to our Year 9’s for their achievements.

Year 10

I have been very fortunate to lead Year 10 through the Summer term this year, and have enjoyed getting to know the students

prepared for their final year of GCSE preparation. Mr Holloway has also arranged an exciting reward trip to Thorpe Park on the 15th September, as a reward for all of the hard work Year 10 have invested into their first year of their KS4 courses. Please ensure that permission slips and voluntary contributions are returned before the end of the academic year. The entire cohort completed their work experience from the 10th to the 14th of July. Students worked with Mrs Smith and the EBP programme to find a placement that was suitable for them. Year 10 would like to thank Mrs Smith for all of the hard work she has put in to ensure work experience has run smoothly. We hope that all students thoroughly enjoyed their first experience of the

working world!

Many members of Year 10 also applied for Student Leadership roles, they went through a rigorous application process, where students introduced different projects and gathered support from other students. The group were then shortlisted further and then interviewed for their positions. and sharing their fantastic achievements with them.

Year 10 have had a busy term: completing their mock examinations in all GCSE subjects, attending their Work Experience placements and applying for Student Leadership roles. I am pleased to say that students behaved exceptionally well during their Year 10 mocks and have now had a true experience of what next summer has in store for them. Photography and art students also had to complete a 6 hour exam, where I was astounded at the quality of the work produced. I hope all Year 10 students will be happy with their mock results and now feel more
