GENERAL NEWS Year 8 Awards

Regents Park is really proud to present awards to our Year 8’s for their achievements.

Rewards 2017 This year we have rewarded students in a number of different ways.

Students were given achievement points which reward good behaviour, hard work, attendance, punctuality and many other things. These achievement points result in certificates of which we have awarded 356 bronze certificates and 203 silver certificates . We hope to award our first gold certificate very soon! The two students in each year group with the highest number of achievement points have also been invited to tea with Mr Archibald. We have also made positive phone calls home to the parents of the 15 highest achievement point students each month to pass on congratulations. This has amounted to 97 calls since January. The newest initiative has been the “Caught Being Good” raffle, where students have been the awarded raffle tickets for being caught doing something good above and beyond the ordinary. These tickets have been put into a weekly draw for chocolate and sweets which has proved very popular with the students. So far..
