Regents Review Summer '17
The Regents Review Summer 2017
GENERAL NEWS
Year 11 Year 11 have worked tirelessly over the Spring and Summer terms to put themselves in the best possible position for their GCSE exams. Their attendance remained good throughout the year and their work ethic in school was excellent. Now that the exams are over it gives me a little time to look back and reflect on the last year. This cohort has been on an eventful journey with the school. They have experienced the uncertainty and heartache of going into special measures and the thrill of being judged ‘ good’ such a short time later. Their ethos set the tone for the school and they were expertly led by their Head Boy, Harry Smith, and Head Girl, Jess Crouch. I would like to thank them both for their efforts. They are a fantastic group of young people and I am proud to have been their Head of Year. It was brilliant to see so many of them at the leavers assembly and then at the prom. They were both
fantastic occasions that I will never forget.
I wish them all the best for their futures and look forward to seeing them again on results day on the 24th August to celebrate what we hope to be a great
set of results. Mr Holloway Head of Year 11
