tasks on iDEA for the summer term. iDEA is an international award-winning programme, that helps students to develop digital, enterprise and employability skills, through a series of online challenges. Special mention to Farhad and Ash for consistently achieving high marks.

RPCC taking part to celebrate the national Safer Internet Day. We have a new list of Digital Leaders and well done to our new recruits: Mya, Sam, Tai, Wiktor, Hikmet, John, Alhameen, Subasna, Koyna, Umberto, Ianis, Kato, Alicja, Kinti, Alfie, Wisdom, Freya & Oguz.

Digital Leaders Our Digital Leaders have been very busy during the week beginning 3rd February, they prepared a presentation delivered in assemblies to all year groups, as part of Safer Internet Day. We have also appeared on the Safer Internet Day website, showing Year 11 Enterprise and Marketing Students have been working hard on their second coursework, to pitch their Ali’s ice cream business proposal for their new product and just completed their oral pitch exam. We are finalising the courseworkm, ready for submission by the first week in May. They have also sat their second mock exam in February. Special mention to Krish and Shooey for achieving the top grades in the mock exam, as well as Cherice, for excellent progress on her coursework. The final GCSE exam is on Wednesday 21st May.

Alfie, Joshua for scoring grade 8. The final exam for paper 1 will be on Friday 9th May and paper 2 on Friday 16th May.

Year 10 Enterprise & Marketing

Students are in the closing stages of completing their first controlled assessment, covering designing a new product (class design t-shirt). These will be sent off this summer, to the exam board. After that, we will be looking at exam skills, in preparation for mocks and making a start for their next assessment, which will involve pitching for their new ice-cream. Special mention to Koyna for her fantastic efforts to improve her

Students are using this time, after completing their mock, to revise for all topics studied, using Smart Revise, with short and long quizzes for retrieval practise. They have improved in their performance for their second mock in March. Special mention to Luca, Hikmet & Andrei for scoring a grade 9 and Jelan,
