Year 9 Art In art, Year 9s are learning about culture, specifically Mexican culture. Looking at the artwork of Frida Kahlo and Jose Posada, students are creating some amazing artist study pages in their sketchbook. Students have been exploring observational drawings, in line with the GCSE curriculum, to prepare them for next year and have started looking at cultural pattern design.

KS3 Art Club KS3 art club have been investigating cubism inspired by Van Gogh and Picasso. Students drew self-portraits and developed them into watercolour painting and added pattern using coloured fine liners. KS3 Art Club have been drawing cityscapes, inspired by Nathen Welsh.
