World Book Day 2022

Letters to Foundry Lane Our Year 7 Spanish classes practised their school subject opinions, by writing letters to Year 5 and 6 students at Foundry Lane describing their lives at Regents Park. Students shared their favourite subjects and teachers with upcoming students and included their reasons why. Mrs Griffiths and the students at Foundry Lane were very impressed with the level of their Spanish. Buen trabajo Año 7! We were also very thankful to receive some fantastic Christmas messages from our Year 5 and 6 students at Foundry Lane! We are really looking forward to our next project together!

Mrs Sturdy lead some fantastic World Book day lessons across the department, after studying some famous book titles in French or Spanish. Our Year 7 students were then tasked with designing their favourite book cover and writing a short blurb in target language.

Dragons Den During our Year 10 unit of work on technology, students were asked to design and advertise a new piece of technology in either French or Spanish. To share some inspiration, students firstly watched a short clip of Dragons Den France or Spain and analysed their pitches.
