Physical Education DEPARTMENTAL NEWS Year 9 & 10s Girls Football

The Year 9 & 10 girls football team are nearly coming to the end of their season having faced some great competition in the Southampton schools league. Each student has shown resilience and determination throughout each game, resulting in a real positive environment for all involved. As always, students have always upheld the values and ethos of RPCC to which we are proud of. It has been a pleasure to watch the team grow and play some fantastic football so far! Well done to all involved.

Year 7 & 8 Girls Football

Recently, our Year 7 & 8 girls in football, took part in the U13 Girls Utilita Cup at Staplewood Training Ground. They showed outstanding teamwork, determination and resilience throughout the tournament, earning a place in the semi-finals and securing an impressive 3rd place finish. Their Southampton schools league season begins after Christmas, in which the girls are keen to get started and are hoping for a successful run. A huge well done to all who have attended girls football club so far. We look forward to welcoming you back after the Christmas break.

PE Kit Please can we remind students that they should be wearing Regents Park PE kit for practical core, 360 Leaders and BTEC Sport lessons. Please can you ensure students are not wearing hooded jumpers, as this can cause harm to themselves and other students. They are permitted to wear the RPCC PE jumper or a plain blue or black jumper that doesn’t have a hood. If a student is unable to take part in PE, please ensure they have a note and their PE kit (they won’t take part practically but will engage in other roles

throughout their lesson). If a student is unable to change, please get in touch with their PE teacher. Please check your child’s timetable and our uniform policy on the website to ensure they are adhering to school rules. Many
