Students’ Items and Classroom equipment Mobile Phones

These may be brought into school for emergency use before and after school. Whilst on the school site or undertaking school activities off site, phones must be switched off and put away. They must not be seen. Any mobile phone seen during the school day will be confiscated until the end of the day. This includes at break and lunch times. If confiscated their parents must make arrangements to collect it from the school during office hours (8.15 am – 4.00 pm). All items are brought onto the school site at the owner's risk. It is the student's responsibility to lock away all items of value, including money etc or to hand it into a member of staff for safe keeping. Classroom Equipment Students must always have: ● 2 black pens/biros ● A pencil ● A ruler ● Regents Park Community College Planner It is strongly recommended that students have: ● A pencil sharpener and eraser ● A protractor ● A highlighting pen ● A pair of compasses ● A dictionary ● Colouring pencils ● A calculator [available from maths department once students start college] ● A bottle / RPCC Water Bottle of water to drink during the day Bags brought to should be waterproof and should allow A4 sized papers / files / text books to be carried without being folded.
