The Charity Strategy
Aims:
‐ To help students develop into emotionally warm and well-balanced citizens - To raise money for charity - To educate students about causes needing support which may be outside their range of experiences. - To achieve the above by contributing to children’s charities where possible 1. Decisions on which charities to support will be made by the representatives of each year’s student council and in Year 11 by the Student Leadership Team. 2. The charity will be confirmed at the first whole college council meeting of the academic year and should be introduced to Tutor Groups by their School Council representative. of action showing the name of the charity, the liaising representative, what events will take place, who will be in charge of each, where it will take place, what facilities will be needed and which members of staff will be overseeing each event. 4. In the event of a major disaster, requests to raise money should be put in writing to the Headteacher and Leadership Team. 3. The School Council will decide how to raise the money under the guidance of the HOY. Before the actual fund raising takes place there should be a clear plan
