Our Apprentices!

Regents Park has recently employed two new apprentices to join the staffing team. We asked them how they’re finding their experience, and here is what they had to say:

“When I was at school I never thought I would go down the path of being an apprentice in PE teaching, especially not in a secondary school. When I joined Regents Park Community College it flipped that thought completely and I was more than happy I had. The staff have been and are more than welcoming, helping me find my way round or answering any questions that have come to me. Another reason I have felt more than welcome have been the students. When helping in lessons or just walking around the school I hear ‘Hey Miss G’ or ‘Good morning Miss G’. Just the feeling of the students acknowledging me being there and wanting to say hello to me or feeling like they can come and talk to me has been a very nice feeling. Thankyou Regents Park.” “After college, I was struggling to find what I wanted to do as a career. I kept learning new things from drawing to programming, but nothing got me excited as much as fixing and working on technology. That was what brought me to applying to work here at Regents Park in IT and I couldn’t be happier. Everyone I have met so far has been incredibly welcoming and easy to communicate with. I adore helping people and working to support people who need help with IT issues and it never fails to make me proud to have started my career here.”
