Six Trip Divorced! Beheaded! Died!
Physical Education The history students also got the chance to take part in a joint reward trip with creative arts. On 17th July, 15 students went along to the Mayflower Theatre for a special showing of the Six musical. They got to hear the stories of the six wives of Henry VIII, taught through song! After the show, they were given a tour of the theatre to experience the technical side of theatre production – focusing on sound and lighting. Students enjoyed their afternoon and were respectful. Thank you to Mrs Freeman and Miss Reed for accompanying the students. Sports Awards In April, we held our first Sports Awards evening, and wow, what an incredible evening it was. From awards to our charity raffle, to a dance performance and also having Morag Pearce (ex-lioness) with us as a guest speaker! It was truly incredible to see what an outstanding turn out we had, with every student looking incredibly smart and mature. It was an amazing opportunity to celebrate so many student successes and developments through PE and sport, encompassing the ethos of RPCC. It was incredible to reflect on the outstanding growth in character and physical development of all individuals who were there! As a department, we are extremely proud of all students who attended the event, and showcased the inclusive and diverse curriculum and opportunities we offer.
