to safely cross the road at the end of the day was put in place partly as a result of a Year 7 petition. The increasing number of cars to collect students at the end of that day meant the volume of traffic was causing issues to students leaving at the end of the day.

The attendance of Year 7 is the best in school, which further demonstrates Year 7’s determination and desire to learn at Regents Park. Well done to the following students for 100% attendance. Year 8 Wow! Our second year as a team has come to an end! What a year it has been, even though we have been in lockdown and hiding our smiles behind our masks, we have still had a full on year. Recently we have been trialing our option subjects which has been great fun. We have had our summer ‘Hot 50’ and in June we completed our delayed PSHE day, where students started to think about their future, careers and universities. It was fantastic to see the students thinking about their future and testing the computer programme to see what job their skills would lean towards.

This year we have continued to develop College Council, adapting into a strong, effective group who have made decisions, led the year group and supported the Student Senior Leadership Team to create change for the future of Regents Park. As part of the leadership role, Stanley has written his overview of the year: “It has been great being involved in College Council this year. Mrs Bishop makes it very fun and we are able to have our own banter and get to know each other. It’s opened a road to making our school a better
