Regents Review - Summer 2021
The Regents Review Summer 2021
GENERAL NEWS
Wellbeing Award
Well-being is extremely important to all of us at Regents Park. We are very excited to have the opportunity to work towards achieving a well-being award for our school. This will take place over the next 12-15 months. In order to achieve the award, we will need to achieve all 7 objectives set out by the awards criteria. To help us achieve this, we will send out regular questionnaires to our stakeholders. The results from these will form an action plan for us to develop. An inspector will visit to check on our progress throughout the process. We will of course keep you up to date. Keep an eye on our social media platforms. Some of the things we have recently introduced are ‘Well-being Wednesdays’ to staff and students. We have a mental health support worker, working with our students, as well as well-being champions. We have slots within tutor times, where we can specifically discuss wellbeing.
Meet the Wellbeing Change Team: As part of the well-being award process, we have set up a change team to help drive this forward. Here is the team: Staff:

Key Info about the Well-being award at RPCC • Everyone is responsible for making this happen • The way it has been described is, if RPCC was a cake, every slice of the cake will include wellbeing (behaviour,
kindness…) • There will be regular
questionnaires to complete for all stakeholders • Action plans will be written from the questionnaires • An inspector will visit throughout the process to monitor our progress • The award takes between 12 and 15 months
Together, we can do this!
