Regents Review Summer '18

The Regents Review Summer 2018

GENERAL NEWS

Year 7 Year 7 have continued to prove themselves as the biggest and best year group in RPCC. Year 7 have earned an astonishing, over 70,000 achievement points between them. I would like to congratulate our top 10 pupils below, who have received the most achievement points out of our Year 7 cohort.

Year 7 have shown great resilience, determination and enthusiasm towards their school life, they have an overall attendance of 96.24% and the following pupils have not missed a day of school this year up until 21st June: Jake Allen, Holly Anstey, Eashan Apadoo, Alex Ballard, Vernessa Cooper, Ani Doncheva, Daniel Fernandes , Alisa Filippova , Malee Hopkins, Maya Kaur, Diego Moreno , Maddison Murphy, Ruby Murray , Katie Pitman, Sophia Rickard, Annalise Ryves, Luke Saunders, Daniel Shwani, Paulina Vaicekonyte, Tom Winchcombe, Bailie Wyatt. I have absolutely loved working with Year 7 this year. I have had the pleasure of seeing some fantastic work going on across the curriculum and witnessed perfect behaviour on trips and PE fixtures. As we move from Year 7 into Year 8, I am excited to inform you that I will move up with the Year group and still be their Head of Year next year. In September 2018 we will not be the biggest Year group anymore so we have voted for a new slogan of being the “brightest and best” year group at RPCC. Please enjoy the summer holidays!

Year 7 have settled in brilliantly to RPCC and the large majority of pupils are impeccably behaved around school and in lessons. I would like to personally congratulate all of Year 7s who are ‘zero heroes’ in terms of not having any behaviour points at all since September. These are found on page 7. This term I have launched the ‘Rewards Passport’ where Year 7 have been competing to see which students show our school ethos of “ Respect, Pride, Creativity and Challenge ”. I would like to congratulate the following 8 girls who achieved gold weeks before the deadline.
