Munich Trip

“I thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip to Munich – I really felt I had experienced the German culture and what people had experienced under Nazi rule. The visit to Dachau concentration camp was harrowing but important to see the tragedy that occurred. The trip was an exciting journey and I feel confident that I can apply this knowledge.”

“Munich was a very interesting city with different aspects to enjoy and study. I thoroughly enjoyed the exploration side of the different Nazi buildings and putting history into reality. I feel that I have a much better understanding of the content we have studied in class and I also feel proud that RPCC were respectful to the sensitive content that we explored.”

“Munich was amazing! It was worth the dreadful 18 hour coach journey. The hotel was beautiful and our rooms were pretty extravagant. The best part of the trip was going to the Allianz Arena and having a full tour of the stadium. However, the whole trip reinforced what we had learnt in our history lessons and made the Cold War and Nazi Germany much clearer to understand!”
