Regents Review Summer '17

The Regents Review Summer 2017

GENERAL NEWS

Year 7 Year 7 have finished the year how they started it! Polite, respectful, motivated and enthusiastic are just a few of the words used to describe this vibrant year group they have grown in to. As Year 7 are now fully involved in Regents Park life they have sought out opportunities to go above and beyond. We have a group of very motivating and determined young people. They have created a performance to take to our feeder primary schools. They have represented the school at city athletics championships. Some of the girls have been representing the year above in a very successful rounders’ team. We have taken a group to the city wide university challenge event to represent the school. Inside the classroom the students have been making exceptional progress. They have been enjoying a wide variety of subjects and teaching styles.

This term we have been making the most of the school experience. The Year 7s have had a geography field trip to the New Forest Reptile Centre. We have also been to Boulogne in France for a fantastic trip. We really enjoyed celebrating our fantastic students in the end of year rewards assembly and thank you to those parents who came along to celebrate with us. I am sadly leaving Regents Park, but I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank all the supportive parents, fantastic children and inspiring staff for an unforgettable year. I wish you all the best and look forward to hearing about how the students develop during their time at Regents Park.

Thank you,

Mr Calton Head of Year 7
