DEPARTMENTAL NEWS

Year 9 Photography Students are learning how to use professional camera and lighting equipment in their photography rotation. They are looking at the subject of portraiture and have been studying different photographers such as Annie Leibovitz. They have also learned about studio and location photography, as well as, using props in photographs to enhance your images. Lastly, students have also learned how to use Photoshop in their rotation and have learned different digital manipulation skills, such as double exposure and colour splash.

KS3 Photography Club KS3 photography club have been working hard exploring various photographic and editing skills. One of the highlights from the last half term has been the students creating their own stop motion characters using plasticine. The video result looked great. The students have also explored portraiture in David Hockney style and macro photography.
