Regents Review Spring 2022
The Regents Review Spring 2022
GENERAL NEWS
Year 7 We are now two thirds of the way through Year 7 and I’m sure you will all agree that this year has gone extremely quickly. We are now concentrating on developing our work to show further progress in the build up to Year 8, where students will start to think about GCSE options. It has been a busy term for Year 7 with sporting fixtures and tournaments, PSHE days and an extremely successful Dance Live competition, where we won awards! Year 7 students have been fantastic through all of these events and have been a massive credit to themselves by showing focus, maturity and success across all areas. There are several excellent opportunities available to students at Regents Park and I urge all students to participate in as many of these opportunities as they can. I have great pride in overseeing the development of Year 7 and look forward to carrying on sharing the successes with Year 7 students in

Year 8 Year 8 options have dominated this term which has been exciting. This is the first opportunity for students to have a say into their education next year. It has been great speaking with students discussing their aspirations for Year 11 and post Regents Park. I was bowled over when a student explained they would like to work with nanotechnology within medicine. During the course of this term I am very proud of
the number of students who has appeared in the top of the achievement point charts each week. So far 49 students have received recognition for their efforts, some multiple times. Congratulations to the following students for being in the top 10 for this term: Luca, Izzy, Taisia, Samuel, Resham, Ava, Mya, Nathan and Jessica
