Cyber Ambassadors Our cyber ambassadors have been very busy during the week beginning 7th February, they prepared a presentation that was delivered in assemblies to all year group and on Tuesday 8th February, Internet Safety Day, the ambassadors were out at break time asking students to write tips on how to be safe online.

ICT – KS3 Both Years 7 and 8 have been working on a taster unit for the Creative iMedia course, this was timed to support Year 8 with their GCSE options process. Year 7 have created a poster for a new movie and Year 8 have created a DVD cover. They have been using a range of skills with photo editing to create their final product.

All of our students were encouraged to complete an online safety survey during Internet Safety Week in February about different social media platforms.

Business Studies Year 11 have completed their second mock exams and special mention to Eashan and Maya for achieving a grade 9 and Daniel, Yanni and Jack, grade 8. Year 9 enterprise and marketing class have been studying all about costs, revenue and how to calculate if a business is showing profit or loss on their sales. They have also studied break even point and how to forecast the number of units required to be sold to break even. They were definitely prepared for an end of unit test on costings and they have used their mathematical skills for this unit.

Year 9 business studies class have been studying product portfolio and marketing, they also were preparing for an end of unit test on marketing.
