’s school attendance which has not shown the necessary improvement required, you are advised that a referral will be made to the Local Authority Education Welfare Service. Please find enclosed your child’s attendance register for your information. ‘O’ is unauthorised absence and ‘U’ is Late after the register has closed which is also unauthorised. Please contact the school if you would like to discuss your situation with us, we will be happy to meet with you, but be advised that this matter is now being dealt with by the Local Authority.
