Mantra for year 7 “ All hands in, be the best version of you”

What does this mean? This mantra is our motivational phrase designed to encourage teamwork, personal growth, and self-improvement. “All hands in" Teamwork and Unity : This part emphasizes the importance of everyone working together. It suggests that success comes from collective effort, where each individual's contribution is valued.

"Be the best version of you" Personal Growth : This part focuses on individual self-improvement. It encourages each person to strive towards their personal best. Self-awareness : It asks individuals to recognize their strengths and weaknesses and to work on enhancing their abilities and overcoming their limitations. Aspiration and Effort : It motivates people to set high standards for themselves and to work diligently to meet those standards. The phrase suggests continuous self-evaluation and effort towards becoming better.

Inclusion : It implies that everyone should be involved and take part in the activities or goals set for the year. No one is left out. Commitment : It encourages full participation and dedication from every member of the group, indicating that achieving goals requires everyone's input.

How can home support with team Year 7?

School - home relationship is invaluable to support your child. Ways you can support us from home: • Set a Routine: Establish a daily routine that includes time for homework, reading, and relaxation. Ensure a set bedtime each week day. • Create a Study Space: Provide a quiet and well-lit area for your child to do their schoolwork. • Be Involved: Regularly ask your child about their day (this has the biggest impact), what they learned, and any challenges they faced. Communicate with us when you need to. Were always at the end of the phone! By working together, schools and homes can create a supportive and enriching environment that fosters a child’s academic and personal growth.
