DEPARTMENTAL NEWS KS3 Textiles Club

We have been busy preparing decorations for Christmas, students have been making their very own felt balls and making Christmas baubles. Next, they are making colourful tassels.

Bronze Arts Award Updates Year 10 are on track to completing two of the four units for the award. So far, they have researched and presented work on their ‘arts inspiration’ work from textile artists to the actor Tom Felton

‘Sister Act Jr’ Rehearsals have moved onto the stage and we are now beginning to piece together all the music, acting and set. Keep up the good work folks – March 2022 will be awesome!

They have shared their individual ‘artist’ skill with each other – creating their own choreography, cake decorating, hand-sewing, photography, the list goes on! Well done Year 10, some amazing work being produced.
