GENERAL NEWS

PSHE & Careers Careers Festival – Friday 18th October

Our biggest event of the year and another success, the Careers Festival involved numerous staff from 25 different external employers/providers along with our wonderful staff. It had the whole school off timetable for the day looking at different aspects of business skills and future pathways. Year 7 & 8 focussed on business skills and team building. Year 9 had the opportunity to go speed dating with a range of different employers and learn about different jobs that people do. Year 10 were investigating how to join the world of work with CV and interviews being practiced. Year 11 was about preparing themselves for life at college with the skills they need to apply and succeed.
