The Business Studies class this term has been doing Operation Management which is all about how products are made as the most effective production method. In the autumn term will move onto Human Resources. The Enterprise and Marketing class have been studying theory in preparation to start their NEA course work in September to design a business proposal. The NEA coursework has been released in June titled Baslow Bags Ltd about backpacks.

Social Sciences History - Platinum Jubilee This term we have been embracing the public mood and celebrating the Platinum Jubilee. Year 7 had a lesson about the Diamond Jubilee for Queen Victoria then spent some time reflecting on the reign of our Queen Elizabeth. The Year 7 cohort spent time analysing the jubilee plate of Queen Victoria to gain some inspiration for their own designs. There were some incredible designs and the competition was fierce - Mrs Blake found it very difficult to judge! However, the overall winner was Fadl for his amazing design! It was so great to see students embrace the idea that they were ‘living through history.’
