‘Day to Create’ Regents Park Community College have always had a strong creative sense of being, demonstrated through our school ethos of Respect, Pride, Creativity and Challenge . We work closely with our primary schools, especially during transition, so we thought a ‘Day to Create’ would be an amazing opportunity for our Year 6 students to take part in during their visit.

Their task was to create a piece of artwork for display in the hall from September, when they officially join us as Year 7 students. Year 6 comments: “I really enjoyed being creative and expressing my interests in school using art” “I cannot wait to see the finished artwork in the hall’ ‘Today has made me think about my own aspirations and what I want to do when I finish school’

As you can see Year 6 had a really creative time, developing their own piece of art work to be displayed for all at Regents Park to look at – it will be one of the first things they and their parents will see on arrival in September. Mrs Freeman Curriculum Leader of Creative Arts #DaytoCreate
