DEPARTMENTAL NEWS

Coast to Coast: Year 10 Fieldwork Success On the 19th June, our Year 10 students spent a full day out on fieldwork at Boscombe Beach and Bournemouth City Centre and what a day it was! From measuring groynes along the shoreline to getting stuck into questionnaires with members of the public, our students threw themselves into every task with focus, energy and enthusiasm - and kept it up for the entire day, without a single dip in effort. From start to finish, our pupils were a credit to the school - staying focused, engaged and enthusiastic throughout every task and truly were a credit to our school. Their behaviour was exemplary and they truly embodied our school ethos of Respect, Pride, Creativity and Challenge . They showed respect for the environment, their peers and the staff. They took real pride in their work, presenting themselves as excellent ambassadors for our school. Their creativity shone through in how they approached problem-solving out in the field and they rose to every challenge the day threw at them with determination and a positive attitude.

We are incredibly proud of how our students represented RPCC and this is a fantastic example of what our young people can achieve when they apply themselves. Well done to everyone involved! Miss Baillie is extremely proud of you!

Computing & Business

Paultons Park Trip All Year 10 classes visited Paultons Park in May and participated in Business, Marketing and Digital Technology sessions, depending on their option and saw how a business is ran, as well as how technology is supporting that business. The students enjoyed the workshop sessions and had a great sunny day to enjoy the rest of the park.
