Guitar Donation Two extremely lucky Regents Park music students were delighted to receive their very own instruments due to an extremely generous donation from ‘The Guitar Store’, in Southampton. Both the students are members of the school band and neither of them had their own instruments. The donation included a complete gig pack including an electric

guitar, a practice amplifier, guitar picks, a jack lead and a gig bag. The Year 7 and 8 students also received a personalised letter from the store owner encouraging their passion for music to which each of them promptly replied with their own thank you message. As a department and on behalf on the school, I would like to personally offer my own thanks for this lovely altruistic gift from

the local business owner. In addition, I praise the stores passion to encourage our young people’s development within music. Thank you so much. Mr G Barron Music Teacher
