Italian Club Regents Park Italian Club has given students the opportunity to discover and learn about Italian traditions and culture. Some Year 7 and 8 students have attended Italian Club every Wednesday and Thursday during lunch time. Students have participated in a DIY project making the famous leaning tower of ‘Pisa’. The project was entirely made out of paper! Following the project, the students had the chance to learn the basics of the Italian language whether that may be numbers, colours, foods and greetings. Year 8 Spanish Mrs Mouland’s Year 8 class wrote about their school uniform and what their ideal school uniform would look like using the conditional tense. They then drew their ideal uniform design.

8G2: La moda basura After learning how to describe what they are wearing using three tenses, 8G2 turned designer and created outfits out of bin bags to match their written descriptions. They then modelled their runway looks, whilst their partner described their creations in Spanish.

German Club After requests for a German club, Mrs Sturdy restarted it for Year 9 students in June. So far, students have learned greetings and some basic questions as well as pets and numbers!

Trips Abroad? We’ve had so many of our students asking about a potential trip to France or Spain. Obviously, current government guidelines make it very difficult, however the MFL department are beginning to look at some trips for late 2022 - we will keep you updated!
