Regents Park History Celebrating RPCC throughout the years...
Ardeche Memory One of my fondest memories is of a Year 9 trip to the Ardeche, south France. Kayaking down the river felt like survival to a 14 year old! But we came away with confidence, a sense of achievement and a realisation of what we were capable of. It strengthened friendships through shared experience and is still something that crops up in conversation every now and then! The worst part was learning that scorpions were in our campsite! Not to worry though because a sprinkling of talc around the perimeter of our tent would keep them at bay (apparently). It still didn’t stop me forensically searching my bed and shaking out my sleeping bag each night though! What a fantastic opportunity! Attached is a photo of me and my friend conquering the river!
