Alice’s Swimming Achievements

Calling all ex students! We would love to hear from our ex students to see what you have all been up to! Please contact us if you would like to be part of our growing alumni community at info@regentspark.southampton.sch.uk

We are very proud of Alice in Year 10, for her recent swimming achievements out of school. Here is her account of her success: “Recently, I participated in a two-day swimming competition in Aldershot. I competed in six races of different swimming strokes. I achieved 4th place in 100m breaststroke and 200m backstroke. I made the 50m backstroke final, by placing 5th and managed to get down to 4th place, once I swam the event again. I also orginally got into the 50m breaststroke final in 3rd, but I swam the final and made 2nd, resulting in getting a silver medal. These races require a lot of resilience and can get very tiring, but the best thing to do is persevere. I have trained extremely hard and have got a great result out of it and will hopefully progress further.” Well done Alice, keep up the great work. #greenandproud
