The Regents Review Spring 2026
DEPARTMENTAL NEWS
Digital Leaders Our Digital Leaders have been very busy during the week beginning 2rd February. They prepared a presentation and delivered this in assemblies to all year groups, as part of Safer Internet Day. We have also appeared on the Safer Internet Day website, showing RPCC taking part in celebrating the national Safer Internet Day. We have a new list of Digital Leaders - well done to our new recruits: Year 11: John, Kismat, Alhameen, Subasna, Koyna, Ianis, Alicja and Kinti. Year 10: Ethan, Baboucarr, Kamalpreet, Ayushmaan Year 9: Freya, Poppy and Alfie We will be saying goodbye to our Year 11 leaders after two years of hard work and commitment in highlighting the importance of being safe online. We will be recruiting in the summer again for Years 7, 8 and 9. Year 11 Enterprise & Marketing Year 11 Enterprise and Marketing students have been working hard on their second coursework, to pitch their ’Ali’s Ice Cream’ business proposal for their new product. They have just completed their oral pitch exam. We are finalising the coursework ready for submission by the first week in May. They have also sat their second mock exam in February. Special mention to Koyna, for achieving the top grades in the mock exam. The final GCSE exam is on Wednesday 20th May.
Year 11 Business Studies The majority of students in Year 11 have been working hard by revising, asking questions and consistently completing their homework. Their effort and commitment to improving their understanding of the subject has been very positive to see. A special shout-out goes to the students who have been consistently attending intervention sessions: Emilia, Kuda, Kismat and Jagraj. These students have shown great dedication and are very eager to perform well in their exams. To support all students, revision activities have been incorporated into lessons, as the theme 2 syllabus was fully covered last term. The focus now is entirely on revision and exam preparation. Students are encouraged to attend intervention sessions regularly and make use of the available revision resources, including Pearson, BBC Bitesize, Smart Revise, and Google Classroom.
