They shared personal insights, cultural traditions and powerful messages about inclusion, helping students appreciate the richness of identities and experiences across our school.

and keyboards during the first half of term. This was then extended to explore how these ideas are then transferred into composing software in the second half term. RPCC Band RPCC band has gone through some major changes this half term with the Year 11 students having left to focus on their exams. With this in mind, we are rebuilding the band and in line with this rebuild an extra beginners club is now running on Tuesdays, in addition to band practice on Fridays. This is in order to support younger students wishing to join the band. Year 11 Music Theory Club Members of theory club have been continuing to work through the Associated Board of Music Grade 2 syllabus covering major scales and relative harmonic scales during this half term. In RE lessons, students explored how cultures around the world celebrate important life events. Lessons were hands‑on, engaging and full of colour - pupils compared celebrations across religions and countries, discovering the meaning behind traditions such as festivals, ceremonies, symbols and rituals. The library also buzzed with activity all week. Pupils took part in interactive sessions exploring traditional foods from around the world, learning how different cultures cook, eat, and use food to express identity, community and even spirituality. From sacred meals to family recipes passed down through generations, students gained a deeper understanding of how food connects people and carries cultural meaning. Culture Week was filled with learning, joy and connection. Most importantly, it reinforced one of RPCC’s greatest strengths: a school community built on respect, celebration, and appreciation of every culture and every voice.
