‘Sister Act Jr’ Performances 29th & 30th March
We auditioned for this production back in early 2020 and planned to start rehearsing in the spring term. As with all best laid plans, things took a different direction. Some of the cast left, some decided the show wasn’t for them, but then we gained some fantastic Year 7s in September last year and the rest, they say, is history. It has taken some time to actually get ‘onto the stage’ due to extra mock exams for Year 11, but the cast, crew, the creative arts & DT team and all Regents Park staff involved have worked tirelessly to make sure we have a production this year. Our first performance was to our local primary schools, who thoroughly enjoyed it and it gave the cast a confidence boost for the evening performances. Thank you so much to all the students involved and a special thank you goes to Mr Barron and Miss Fison for all their help and support getting the show on the stage. Well done Regents Park, another great evening of entertainment from creative arts & DT. Mrs Freeman Curriculum Leader of Creative Arts
