Regents Review - Spring 2021
The Regents Review Spring 2021
GENERAL NEWS
Respect Ambassadors I hope that everyone reading this is happy and in good health. Throughout this year, the Respect Ambassadors have been busy bees and that didn’t stop when home learning started! They have written short stories, learned the importance of recycling, learned to bake and participated in many more wonderful activities. At the moment our Respect Ambassadors are participating in mindfulness March, where each day there is a new challenge focused around mental wellbeing. If you are in Year 7 and would like to get involved with Respect Ambassadors, please speak to Miss Gilbert- Twigg. Below are some photos of the wonderful work that they did.
Wellbeing We have a brand new wellbeing page on our website. This page will be dedicated to student’s wellbeing and will feature images including helpful wellbeing tips and more. https://www.regentsparkcollege.org.uk/ parents/student-wellbeing/
The Great Regents Bean Off The creative arts department had a lot of fun running The Great Regents Bean Off (GRBO) for our staff and students. We had some exceptional entries and the students enjoyed practicing their creative skills when it came to food presentation. Wow, what a lot of talent we have from both students and staff and together we voted for our favourite entries. The challenge was to recreate the popular and nutritious beans on toast and give it a culinary and creative twist. Could this humble meal be given a professional finish for a fine dining experience? Here are the finalists and winners:
Sanitary Towels We have a large amount of sanitary towels in school. Please contact reception if you would like to arrange a time to collect a packet for free.
