DEPARTMENTAL NEWS

Accelerated Reader & MyON Accelerated Reader continues with Year 7 and 8G side at Regents Park! The overall purpose of the program is to engage students in low stakes quizzing based on novels they have read within their zone of proximal development. These quizzes work to support students in their reading retention. In September, December, April and July, students will take the ‘star reader’ test which will track the progress they have made towards improving their reading ages. Our total word count as of 10th March 2021 is: 16,303,579

Department Audiobook Program Following on from our great success during the first lockdown in 2020, the English department at Regents Park continued on this lockdown with another range of audiobooks.
