Author Visit Towards the end of the summer term, we were delighted to welcome author and playwright, Alan Bissett to the school. Alan spoke to our Year 9 students about his book, LADS, which is a fascinating look at the very important topics of consent and respect. The students were really engaged and there were some thought provoking issues raised. Thank you to Alan for coming all the way from Scotland to see us! eBooks We are delighted to now be able to offer our students access to over 1,500 FREE e-book resources, so that they can read on their devices at home. Students can log in to the Wheelers e-platform system using their school Google log in. This system offers students the chance to change background and text size, making the reading materials more accessible for students, who find reading standard text a challenge.
