GENERAL NEWS

Christmas Trolley Once again, Regents Park Community College promoted the Christmas trolley appeal. We would like to thank everyone who has helped to support this.

Cold Weather As a reminder, due the increasingly cold weather, students are able to wear a navy blue school jumper with or without the school logo, for an additional layer to wear under their school blazer. We also ask that students bring their coat to wear to and from school, however hooded tops / jumpers are not permitted.

Resource Hub

Alternative Provision Some of our Year 11 students have been attending off site provisions. These include: workmobility and construction, where students learn life skills and different career choices. The aim is to help them to make informed choices for their future educational steps. They have been learning the basis of car mechanics, bricklaying and also working toward LASER level 1 in construction. They have tried plastering and tiling, basic electric wiring and woodwork. Students seem to enjoy this, as they can have a taster of potential future jobs.

Students in rebuild have been busy recycling old wooden pallets. They have got into the festive spirit and made these amazing Christmas decorations for the Resource Hub. They are learning new skills and using new tools.
