DEPARTMENTAL NEWS Mobile App design - A new club offered by Miss Khan and aimed at students who want to learn programming and design of apps for mobile devices application. This takes place in an ICT suite on Tuesdays. The Key Stage 4 revision club - An after-school club delivering subject specific revision and support for students in Year 10 & 11, wanting to further their progress and prospect in GCSE chemistry, physics and biology is now available after school. These are supported by specialist teachers to maximise pupil progress and attainment. In other news, the science department was excited to be a part of the Mai Trial by Tassomai this term. Students also got a chance to use Mai on ‘Mai Day’ on the 16th November. We hope that all students enjoyed the opportunity to engage with the AI engine and found it useful in helping them overcome any challenging questions they faced. Please continue to help us by encouraging your child to complete their 3 daily goals each week on Tassomai.
