We begin now on our coursework: creating a screenplay and shooting script for the opening of a teen, horror, action, romance, or sci-fi film. The students have grabbed this opportunity with both hands and are all very clear on their characters, narrative and representations. Let the writing commence! Well done, everyone! Science

Again, this year has seen some exciting development in the science department. The science team has been further strengthened with a member of our staff, who is now part of the pastoral team and another experienced science teaching professional, who is part of the Senior Leadership Team. Our dedicated team of scientists are able to

deliver all aspect of the science curriculum to all students regardless of age, need and ability in our seven modern and well-equipped, purpose-built laboratories. The science department is offering a number of clubs / activities aimed at supporting students with their learning and their enjoyment of all sciences: The Year 7 and Year 8 science club, running on Thursdays after school, Mrs Khan offers Key Stage 3 students to carry out practical activities and challenges focussed on STEM subjects (science technology, engineering and mathematics). This has proven to be a big success in improving the profile of sciences at Regents Park.
