T&L Update / Arrangements for X coded students

What if my child is not scheduled to return to school on Monday 8th March 2021?

All RPCC students will continue their on - line lessons following their usual school timetable until the day they return to school. Your child should join their live lessons in the usual way and participate in their lessons just as they have been doing during Lockdown until the first day that they are scheduled to come to school.

What if my child is X coded?

Any student that is X coded, will access their learning through Google Classroom on - line live lessons in the usual way until the day of their return to school.

Will live lessons for X coded students be any different when school re - opens?

RPCC teachers will provide blended learning to support the progress of all of our students. Teachers will be teaching students in school as well as providing live lessons for X coded students learning remotely on - line. Teachers will be able to respond to the 'chat' function and the 'hand up' function at limited times during the lesson because they will also be teaching students physically in class - so your patience with this will be greatly appreciated. Our expectation is that RPCC students exhibit the same exemplary standard of behaviour for learning that they have sustained so wonderfully throughout Lockdown when we return to school - and this includes X coded students learning remotely through Google Classroom.
