Staff Recreational Facilities

Swimming:  Guidance states staff may only use the pool in respect of their curricular duties (e.g. teaching swimming) and where they have up to date professional qualifications; however, the pool may be used by staff for personal use with the agreement of the Headteacher.  The pool can be used: Mornings between 7.00am – 8.00am, however you must check with the Facilities Manager or the Cleaning Supervisor to check availability.  This letting is offered free of charge on the strict understanding that each staff member takes responsibility for ensuring that normal safety procedures are in place and observed; to meet health and safety requirements at least two staff members must use the pool at any one time.  Staff must see the Business Manager or Facilities Manager to sign a Staff Use of Pool Form and be issued with the Conditions of Use for Staff Swimming.
